About Us

Soical Action for Empowerment and Research is a government registered non-governmental organization under the Indian Trust Act, 1882 and shortly known as 'SAFER NGO' founded in 2002. It is based in Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu state in India and working for education& skill development, health promotion, sustainable agriculture & rural development, Income generation program for livelihoods, environmental conservation, climate change, care and support to aged people, biodiversity conservation and empowerment of marginalized people.

We provide household-based special education, therapy support, and parent training for children with intellectual and physical disabilities. Our family education system empowers mothers to support their children’s learning and adaptive skill development at home.

Programs in State

Impact

Selected 33 mothers of 33 differently abled children were provided capacity building and skill training on production of organic fertilizers such as vermicompost and panchagavya. Trained 33 mothers are producing organic fertlizers and earning income by selling organic fertlizers to the local farmers, householders and local market.
