About Us
People For Animals (PFA), Wardha was established in 1999 with a mission to provide safe shelter, medical treatment and food for the animals in distress, and to relocate them at a later stage. PFA Unit at Wardha is popularly called as "Karunashram". However, our unit is divided into two separate parts - one to shelter the rescued wild animals (approved by the Central Zoo Authority & Animal Welfare Board of India) and the other part to shelter the domesticated animals (approved by Animal Welfare Board of India.)
