Jidnyasa Charitable Trust

Jidnyasa Charitable Trust works to ensure that children from marginalized and migrant communities experience a safe, joyful, and meaningful learning journey. Rooted in rural Kolhapur, Maharashtra, our work focuses on strengthening foundational learning, nurturing curiosity and expression, and creating community-owned education spaces.

We work closely with children of migrant sugarcane cutters and rural government school students, many of whom face disrupted schooling due to seasonal migration, poverty, and limited educational support. Through our two core programs—Aas (for migrant children) and Aarambh (government school transformation)—we address gaps in literacy, numeracy, life skills, and emotional well-being.
