About Us

​The Gully Classes Foundation is a non-profit organization, founded in 2017 by Abdul Munaf, that focuses on providing education, skills development, and environmental awareness to underprivileged communities in Mumbai and Rajasthan. It's officially registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act of 2013. ​Key Initiatives & Impact ​The foundation's core mission is to empower individuals to thrive. They achieve this through several key initiatives: ​Primary Education: The foundation offers primary education to underprivileged children in various parts of Mumbai and Rajasthan. They've also transformed abandoned schools and spaces into "Community Resource Centers" and provide books, stationery, and other school supplies to students. ​Women's Empowerment: Gully Classes Foundation conducts skill-based courses, such as Mehndi and digital literacy, to help women and girls gain the knowledge and resources to become financially independent. ​Environmental Stewardship: The organization is actively involved in environmental protection through regular cleanup drives of rivers, beaches, and gardens in Mumbai. They also conduct awareness sessions on the importance of sustainability

Gully Stray Care: Compassion in Action ​An initiative by the Gully Classes Foundation, Gully Stray Care is dedicated to the welfare of street animals in India. Born out of the critical need to support strays during the COVID-19 lockdown, our mission is to ensure animals in distress receive the care they need through expert guidance, rehabilitation, and rehoming. ​We provide essential services including: ​Emergency Guidance: We provide crucial guidance over the call to help people manage emergency situations and connect them with local resources. ​Medical Treatment: Facilitating comprehensive veterinary care, including surgeries and treatments. ​Sterilization and Vaccination: Promoting a healthy and controlled stray population. ​Adoption Services: Finding loving and permanent homes for rescued animals. ​Community Education: Raising awareness about animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.
