About Us

The applicant agency GRAMYA VIKAS PARISHAD, MANGALPUR is a reputed non-profit voluntary organization working for the cause of down trodden and suppressed people. We work without any discrimination of caste, religion, creed and gender etc. registered under the Society Registration Act. 21 of 1860 and its area of operation is whole India. Organization is implementing various programme for livelihood enhancement and other social welfare activities. in many districts including the proposed district West Champaran. The organization is guided by its noble aim and objective is to achieve holistic development with a focus to Livelihood enhancement, women empowerment, Education and health awareness generation, Vocational training and employment with support of Govt. of India.The Organisation has been fortunate to receive financial support in the field of Skill development Training and Community Development Programme from several reputed state and Central Government agencies like Skill Development Initiative Scheme SDIS based on Modular Employable Skills MES Courses Approved By NCVT Govt. of India, ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation)for Mobile clinic Hospital, PMGDISHA (Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Literacy Mission) CSC , Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan for Youth development activities and KUSHAL YUVA PROGRAMME through Bihar Skill Development Mission, SJSRY Vocational Training Programme through Bihar Urban Development Authority (BUDA) under Urban Development Housing Department Govt. of Bihar. Total Sanitation Campaign programme with the assistance of District Water and Sanitation Committee.

It is being managed by a dedicated team of social activists and volunteers with the objectives of meeting the socio-economic developmental needs of the deprived and poorer sections of the society particularly in rural areas. The organization is working for holistic development of the rural community by promotion of livelihood enhancement means, Agriculture & Horticulture Development , Skill development, environment conservation, health and education.
