Gauri Shankar Social Foundation

Gauri Shankar Social Foundation primarily works across Delhi, with a special focus on West Delhi and underserved communities. The Foundation undertakes social welfare and community development initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of people and promoting a healthier, cleaner and more compassionate society.

Key Areas of Work:

1. Healthcare & Medical Support – Organising free health check-up camps and providing basic health screening and medical consultation.
2. Child Welfare & Education – Supporting the educational, social and overall well-being of children from underprivileged communities.
3. Environment & Cleanliness – Conducting cleanliness drives, tree plantation activities and creating awareness about environmental protection.
4. Animal Welfare – Promoting compassion towards animals and providing food, water and basic support wherever possible.
5. Community Welfare – Supporting economically weaker and underserved sections through food, clothing, essential-item distribution and other welfare initiatives.
6. Public Awareness & Social Development – Conducting awareness campaigns and community-based activities on health, hygiene, cleanliness, education and social responsibility.

The Foundation aims to expand its activities to more communities across Delhi and gradually extend its social welfare initiatives to other areas, working in collaboration with volunteers, community members, healthcare professionals and like-minded organisations.
