Story

My name is Shaik Faheem, and I am from Karimnagar. There was a time when I was working as a supervisor in Dubai, earning well and proudly supporting my family. I lived with confidence and responsibility, knowing that my hard work was securing a better future for the people I loved. I never imagined that my life would change so drastically.

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with diabetes. At first, I thought it was something I could manage, but it spread dangerously and affected my health in ways I never expected. Despite treatment, my condition worsened. The infection became so severe that the doctors were left with no choice but to amputate both of my legs to save my life.

In one moment, I lost not just my legs; I lost my entire world. After the amputation, everything fell apart. I could no longer work. I could no longer stand on my own. The life I had built through years of hard work disappeared. The pain was not only physical but also deeply emotional.

As if losing my health was not enough, my wife left me during this difficult time. I lost my family, my stability, and the emotional support I needed the most. Today, I am alone, without income, without strength, and without the ability to even move independently. I lost my wealth, my health, and my relationships; everything changed within a short span of time.

Right now, I am completely dependent on others for even basic daily activities. I cannot work in my current condition. I cannot earn. Every day feels like a struggle for survival. Sometimes the emotional pain feels heavier than the physical loss. I never thought I would reach a point where I would need to ask others for help to simply live.

Doctors have told me that with proper prosthetic legs and rehabilitation, I can try to walk again and slowly rebuild my life. For me, artificial limbs are not just medical support; they are my only hope to regain dignity and independence. With them, I may be able to work again and take care of myself instead of depending on others.

But the cost of prosthetic limbs, rehabilitation, medicines, and daily survival is far beyond what I can afford now. That is why this campaign is so important to me. I am not asking for luxury; I am asking for a second chance at life. I humbly request you to support me in this journey. Your help can give me the strength to stand again, rebuild my life, and live with dignity once more.
