Story

In the quiet lanes of Amravati district, Maharashtra, lives Nandu Buarov Dabhade; a hardworking wall painter, a father, and the only breadwinner of his family of six. For years, his hands painted the dreams of others, homes filled with colour, warmth, and life. But today, those same hands tremble under the weight of illness and helplessness.

Nandu has been diagnosed with tuberculosis (TB); a disease that has not only stolen his health but also his livelihood. As a private daily wage worker, he earned just enough to feed his family, but now, with no work and mounting medical expenses, his world has turned upside down.

In his own words, Nandu says:

“I have been sick for the past four to five months. I used to visit a private clinic where I spent ₹200 every time, but my fever never went away. Later, I was   admitted to the government hospital for treatment. They discharged me after a few days, but the fever came back again and again.
I have become very weak now and cannot go to work. My family is the only one with me, I have no other support. I just need small amount for my medicines and treatment.”

He has no relatives to help him, no savings to fall back on, and a family that looks up to him with both hope and fear. The medicines, doctor visits, and even basic needs have become unbearable burdens. Yet, amidst all this pain, Nandu still holds on to one thing, the will to live and take care of his loved ones once again.

This campaign is a plea to humanity; to all those who believe that no one should suffer alone just because they were born into hardship.

Every contribution, no matter how small, can bring Nandu closer to recovery can give his children food on the table, can give him the strength to fight, and can give his family hope that brighter days will come.

Your kindness can be his medicine.

Your support can bring back his smile.

Let’s stand with Nandu; because no one should fight alone.

Please donate and share; help Nandu rebuild his life and health.
