Story

My name is Jyotish Kumar Paswan, and I come from Begusarai, Bihar. Like many small‑town families, we came to Delhi with dreams; simple dreams of stability, dignity, and a better future. I worked in a mobile repairing shop back home and always hoped to open a small shop of my own one day. I came here to earn enough to make that dream real and bring my family a better life.

A Happy Anniversary That Turned Into a Nightmare

After a few months, I brought my wife, Radhika, and our children to Delhi so we could live together. We were building our life slowly, step by step. But some dreams, it seems, are not meant to be fulfilled. Today, instead of planning for our future, I am standing helplessly in a hospital corridor, watching my wife fight for her life.

On 29th November, we celebrated our marriage anniversary. We were happy. Life felt normal. The next morning, Radhika made tea for both of us just like she always did. We sat together, talked, and smiled. And then, within moments, everything changed. She suddenly collapsed on the floor. I rushed her to the hospital, terrified and confused.

The Diagnosis That Broke Our World

The doctors told us something no family is ever prepared to hear: Radhika has a brain tumour.

She had been hearing things less clearly and understanding slowly sometimes, but we never imagined something so serious. Our world collapsed in seconds.

We Only Dreamed of Small Things

We never asked for much. A small shop. A stable life. A happy home. But life has thrown us into a storm we never imagined. Instead of building our future, I am now fighting to save the person who is my future. I cannot describe the pain of seeing my wife like this. Our child who is just 1.5 years old keeps asking for her mother. I have no answers. I am suffering, she is suffering, and our child is suffering. The woman who held our home together is now lying in the ICU, fighting for every breath. It breaks my heart to the core.

Your Support Will Bring Radhika Back

She urgently needs treatment. With timely medical care, she has a chance to return to us, to her child, to her home, and to the life she deserves. Her whole family is waiting for her with open arms, loving her deeply and praying every moment for her recovery. We cannot imagine our lives without her presence, her warmth, and her smile.

I am humbly asking for your help. Your contribution will save a mother, a wife, and the heart of our family.

Please help us bring Radhika home.

With a very heavy heart, I’m sharing an update about my wife Radhika’s health. Her recent MRI report has brought us deeply distressing news. The scan shows a large tumor in the left frontal lobe of her brain, measuring over 8 cm, which is causing severe swelling and pressure inside her brain. The doctors have explained that this pressure has already led to a midline shift of 14 mm, meaning her brain is being pushed out of its normal position. This tumor is aggressively affecting vital areas of her brain. It has nearly blocked her brain ventricles, causing further complications, and the swelling around the tumor is worsening her condition day by day. The doctors strongly suspect a serious brain neoplasm, possibly an embryonal or glial tumor, and have advised urgent medical intervention and further procedures to confirm the diagnosis and begin treatment. Radhika is only 24 years old. Watching her condition deteriorate so quickly has been devastating for our family. She is fighting immense pain, weakness, and neurological complications, while we struggle to arrange the urgent treatment she needs to survive. Every delay puts her life at greater risk. We are doing everything we can, but the medical expenses are far beyond our capacity. I am begging with folded hands; please help me save my wife’s life. Your support, prayers, and contributions are the only hope we have right now. Even the smallest help can make a life-saving difference.
