Let’s Make Education Possible for Every Child

Every day, countless children wander the streets of our cities, holding out their hands, hoping for coins, while their dreams of education fade away. In India, millions of children from marginalized communities cannot access proper schooling. Poverty, lack of awareness, and financial struggles push these young minds into child labor instead of classrooms. Education, the very key that could unlock a brighter future, remains a distant dream for them.

Our Mission – Sevarth Bharat Mission Foundation

At Sevarth Bharat Mission Foundation, we believe no child should be denied the right to learn. To change this, we launched the Akshar Project – a program dedicated to reaching slum areas, small towns, and underprivileged neighborhoods. We go directly to these children, teaching them, playing with them, and giving them Akshar Kits filled with stationery and learning materials. In these moments, we see their thirst for knowledge and their eagerness to study, despite their circumstances.

The Need for Action

Many of these children want to go to school, but their parents cannot afford fees, uniforms, or transport. Instead of learning, they are forced to work, begging or helping their families survive. Every day lost is a lost opportunity to shape their future. We cannot let these young dreams die in the streets.

Restarting the Akshar Project

Now, we are ready to expand the Akshar Project. We aim to reach every slum, every small town, and every corner where children are deprived of education. Our goal is to not just teach them letters and numbers, but also to create awareness among parents that education is their child’s most valuable asset – far more important than labor or survival alone.
