80% of My Body Is Covered with Severe Psoriasis: Please Help Me Heal

My name is Karthik, and I am an engineer who once worked in Mumbai and Bangalore to support my family. Three years ago, a small round patch appeared on my skin. I took treatment, and it disappeared. But last June, it returned, this time more aggressively. Because of financial struggles, I could not continue treatment regularly, and today almost 80% of my body is affected by severe Psoriasis.

Doctors told me that psoriasis can be genetic. In my case, it has developed into multiple forms, including silver psoriasis, covering my hands, back, neck, and even sensitive areas. My skin burns in sunlight, feels like chilli powder when irritated, and itches constantly. Within hours of bathing, the infection smell begins again. I cannot tolerate heat or cold, cannot wear proper clothes, and cannot step outside normally.

Seven months ago, I had to leave my job because I physically could not continue working in the mechanical field. Since then, I have been at home without income. My father is unwell and not working. My sister is studying. My mother, who earns a very small income at a chapati-making company, is the only one holding our family together. Watching her struggle while I sit helplessly at home breaks me every day.

This disease has not only affected my body but also my personal life. One of my marriage proposals broke because of my condition. I am mentally strong and ready to fight, but physically the pain, burning sensation, and sleepless nights are overwhelming.

To restart my treatment properly and continuously, I urgently need ₹2.8 lakhs for medical care, medicines, and hospital expenses. The funds will go directly toward my treatment so I can control this condition before it worsens further.
