Awakening the Durga Within Every Home; Turning Fear into Power

In every home, there lives a Durga, a woman with the power to create, nurture, protect, and rise above challenges. She is the heartbeat of families, the silent pillar of communities, and the spark of courage in everyday life. Yet, for many women, this strength is hidden under fear, violence, and societal silence. Too often, they face danger in spaces that should feel safe their homes, schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods.

Recognising this urgent need, The Help Charitable Trust NGO launched Har Ghar Durga Abhiyaan, a mission to awaken the inner strength of every woman and transform victims into warriors. Our goal is simple yet profound: to make every woman feel safe, empowered, and capable of standing up for herself. Through this initiative, women and girls receive self-defence training, legal guidance, counselling , and vocational support. They gain confidence, practical skills, emotional strength, and independence, enabling them to protect themselves, rebuild their lives, and stand tall with dignity.

Every training session, every safety kit, and every awareness camp is a step toward a stronger and safer society. Women who once felt helpless are now learning to protect themselves and others. They are becoming role models, inspiring more women to rise and reclaim their power.
