Every year in Rajasthan, over 20,000 animals are reported injured due to road accidents, neglect, or abuse and many more go unnoticed. Stray dogs, cows, and other voiceless beings often suffer silently, with no access to timely medical care. These numbers are not just statistics; they are lives in pain, desperately needing compassion and intervention.

My name is Madhuri Dave, and for the past three years, I have been leading the Jeevrakshanam Ashray Charitable Foundation, a small but determined initiative with one big goal; to be a lifeline for animals in distress.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to rescue, heal, and protect sick, injured, and accident-affected animals, ensuring that no creature suffers simply because they cannot ask for help.

We believe that kindness has no species, and every life, no matter how small; deserves care, dignity, and a chance to live free from suffering.

What We Do:

At Jeevrakshanam Ashray, our team works day and night to respond to emergency calls and rescue animals in pain. Whether it’s a dog hit by a vehicle, a cow suffering from untreated wounds, or a bird struggling to fly, we make sure help reaches them in time.

Here’s how we make a difference every day:

1. Rescue operations: We reach out to animals in distress; from roadsides, fields, or urban areas and bring them to safety.
2. Emergency medical care: Our veterinary partners and volunteers treat injuries, infections, fractures, and illnesses with compassion and expertise.
3. Rehabilitation and pain relief: We ensure every rescued animal receives proper rest, nourishment, and love during recovery.
4. Safe shelter: Our sanctuary offers a peaceful space where animals can heal and regain their strength until they are ready for adoption or safe release.

Every rescue is a story of pain turned into hope and every recovery reminds us why we do what we do.

How You Will Help:

Running a rescue and medical care centre for animals is not easy. Each day brings new cases, more lives that need help, more souls waiting for relief. But our ability to save them depends entirely on the resources we have.
