Story

Every day on the streets, animals suffer in silence, hungry, thirsty, injured, and unvaccinated. They have no shelter, no safety net, and no one to call for help. We decided to change that.

We are the Avisha Foundation, a volunteer-led initiative started by five families who refused to look away. With no big funding or infrastructure, just a shared belief that every living being deserves care, what began as feeding a few strays has grown into a daily responsibility. Today, hundreds of animals depend on us to survive.

What We Do Every Day

🐾 Feeding 250+ stray dogs: Our team shows up every single day to feed over 250 stray dogs across multiple locations. For many of them, our volunteers are the only reason they eat that day.

💧 Clean drinking water: We install and maintain cemented water pots across the city so dogs, cows, and other street animals always have access to clean water, especially during harsh summers.

💉 Vaccination drives: We organise regular vaccination drives with veterinary professionals to protect street animals from deadly diseases like rabies and distemper, keeping both animals and communities safer.

🚨 Emergency rescue, We respond to calls day and night. Injured, sick, or abandoned animals receive veterinary consultation, medicines, and full follow-up care until they recover.

The Reality Behind This Work

This is run entirely by five families - no government support, no corporate funding. Costs are rising, the number of animals depending on us keeps growing, and some days we have to make impossible choices simply because resources ran out.

Your donation will directly fund:

  • Daily food for 250+ stray dogs
  • Water pot installation and maintenance
  • Vaccination drives
  • Emergency rescue and veterinary treatment

₹500 feeds a dog for a week. ₹1,000 covers a vaccination. ₹2,500 funds a full emergency rescue.

These animals cannot ask for help. But you can answer for them.

Support the Avisha Foundation and help us make sure no street animal suffers alone.
