Lighting Young Lives with Free Education & Hope

My name is Manoj Kumar, and as the President of SHRI SAMANTI PRASAD SEVA SANSTHA, I write this with both hope and responsibility in my heart. Every day, I meet children who should be sitting in classrooms with books in their hands, yet instead they are seen working in small factories, wandering on the streets, or helping their families survive in unimaginable conditions. For them, education is not a choice; it is a distant dream.

Through our “Jeevan Jyoti Shiksha (Free Education) Initiative", we are determined to change that reality. We believe that no child should be denied education because of poverty. Education is not just about reading and writing; it is about dignity, confidence, and the power to build a better future. When a child holds a notebook for the first time, it is not just stationery; it is the beginning of possibility.

From 9th March 2025, in Village Chodera (Dibai), we began providing completely free education to nearly 50 children who were struggling in extremely difficult circumstances. Along with free classes, we distributed notebooks and pens at no cost, ensuring that no child feels left behind due to lack of basic study materials. For many of these children, this is the first time someone has invested in their dreams.

But this is only the beginning. There are many more children waiting for support – children who deserve classrooms instead of construction sites, books instead of burdens, and encouragement instead of exploitation. Our mission is not temporary relief; it is a long-term commitment to breaking the cycle of poverty through education.
