Help Arjun Hear Move and Live Without Limits

Arjun Mehta is 17 years old. He was born into a world that never made things easy for him, and he has spent every single day of his life proving that doesn't matter.

At the age of 3, Arjun was diagnosed with moderate-to-severe hearing loss in both ears. At 9, following a road accident, he lost partial mobility in his left leg, leaving him dependent on an ill-fitted, borrowed wheelchair that breaks down more often than it works. He has never owned a device that was truly built for him.

And yet Arjun topped his class in Class 8. He teaches himself coding through free YouTube videos on a cracked phone screen. He wants to become a software engineer.

"People look at me and see what I can't do. I look at myself and see everything I'm going to do."

Arjun's family lives in a two-room house in Kanpur. His father drives an auto-rickshaw. His mother takes in stitching work. Together, they earn just enough to get by and not nearly enough to get Arjun what he actually needs.

A proper digital hearing aid for both ears. A motorised, lightweight wheelchair suited to his body and mobility. A prosthetic leg support brace that would allow him to walk short distances independently for the first time in eight years.

These are not luxuries. These are the tools Arjun needs to simply exist in the world on equal terms.

"I don't want to be carried through life. I want to move through it myself. I just need the right equipment to do that."
