One day, while I was walking back home from the office in Noida, I noticed a small puppy injured and crying on the roadside. He was injured and trembling in pain. I couldn’t ignore him. I gently picked him up, rushed him for medical treatment, and stayed by his side until he was okay. Later, I made sure he safely went back to his mother. That moment changed my life forever.

Hi, I’m Rupsi. I’m a college student and also working as an intern, trying to balance my studies, job, and responsibilities. But along with all this, there’s something very close to my heart: taking care of the street dogs around me.

Every day, I step out to feed them, check on them, and make sure they are safe. If I ever find a dog injured or sick, I don’t think twice; I take them for treatment and care for them until they recover. What started with just one puppy slowly turned into something much bigger.

Today, I’m caring for 23 dogs. Yes, 23 lives who wait for me every single day for food, for care and for love. They are not just animals to me; they are my responsibility, my family.

But managing everything alone is becoming very difficult. Being a student with a small internship income, it’s challenging to cover their daily food and medical expenses along with my own needs.
