Story

My name is Sindu Rama Rao, and I am the father of 5-year-old Sindu Nandan, who is now fighting for his life. Just a few months ago, he was a cheerful child who loved going to school, playing with his friends, and running around our small village in Andhra Pradesh. Today, that same child is lying in a hospital bed, unable to eat properly, unable to stand without support, and crying in pain every day.

His illness began with a small stomach problem, but slowly everything changed. After visiting many clinics and hospitals, we finally heard the words no parent should ever hear. The doctors at Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Hyderabad, confirmed that he has Chronic Liver Disease that has now worsened into severe cirrhosis. His stomach is filled with fluid, his blood is not clotting properly, his bilirubin is dangerously high, and he is growing weaker with every passing hour. His CTP score is 13, placing him in the most critical stage of liver failure. The only way to save his life is an urgent liver transplant.

I work as a daily-wage cement labourer. My income is barely enough to feed my family, yet we managed to spend ₹3 lakhs from loans and whatever little savings we had. But the cost of the transplant and further care is ₹25 lakhs. I cannot earn this amount even in my lifetime. Our entire village is trying to help us. People who barely earn enough for themselves come to us with ₹50 or ₹100, telling us to use it for our child. Their kindness brings us to tears, but the amount needed is far beyond anything we can arrange.

Every day, we watch our little boy become weaker. His body is turning yellow, his stomach keeps swelling, and he often asks me, “Nanna, why does it hurt so much?” I have no answer. I can only hold his hand and hope he stays alive long enough for us to save him.

I am ready to donate my liver to save my son, but we do not have the money to go ahead with the surgery. Every passing day feels like a nightmare, because my child’s life is slipping away while we wait helplessly.

Today, I am pleading with folded hands. Please help us. Your support; no matter how small can bring my son into the operation theatre for the transplant that will give him a chance to live a normal childhood again. Your kindness can bring him back to school, back to his friends, back to life.

His condition is getting worse day by day. We urgently need help.

Please donate, support, and share this campaign. Your compassion can save our child’s life.
