Story

My name is Shaheen Wajid, and today I am not writing just as a sister but as someone who is watching her brother fight for his life every single day.

My brother, Noorulla Khan, is only 54 years old. He is a loving husband and a caring father to his little son. For our family, he has always been the strong one – hard-working, responsible, and full of life. He carried the burden of his home with pride and never let anyone feel his struggles. But today, the same brother who supported everyone is lying weak, battling a serious bone marrow cancer called multiple myeloma.

When we first heard the diagnosis, it felt like the ground disappeared beneath our feet. 'Cancer' was a word we never imagined would enter our lives. I still remember the day the doctor explained his condition and the urgent treatment he needs: daratumumab injections followed by a bone marrow transplant. It was overwhelming. My brother looked at me quietly, trying to stay strong, but I could see the fear in his eyes.

Since then, our life has completely changed. Hospital visits, tests, medicines, and long nights have become our routine. As his sister, I am taking care of him, standing beside him in every appointment, every painful procedure, every moment of weakness. There are nights when he cannot sleep because of pain, and I sit beside him praying silently. Sometimes he asks me, “Will I be fine?” And I tell him yes because I cannot let him lose hope.

I am asking for your support with all my heart. Please stand with my brother in this fight. Your help can give him strength, treatment, and a real chance to recover. You are not just helping one person; you are saving a father for his son, a husband for his wife, and a brother for me.

Please donate and share this campaign. Your kindness can bring hope back into our lives.
