Support Omwati’s Battle Against Guillain-Barré Syndrome

My name is Vikash Kumar, and I’m seeking help to save my beloved mother, Omvati, who is battling a rare and life-threatening condition called Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS).

When Life Changed Over a week

Just a week ago, my mother was healthy & smiling, cooking for us, and taking care of everyone in the family. But everything changed suddenly. She began feeling weakness in her legs, which quickly spread through her body. Within a few days, she couldn’t stand, move, or even lift her arms.

We rushed her to the hospital, and doctors diagnosed her with GBS, a severe neurological disorder where the immune system mistakenly attacks the nerves. It causes rapid paralysis and, if not treated on time, can even affect breathing and become fatal.

Fighting for Her Life in the Hospital

She is currently in the ICU, undergoing plasma therapy and intensive care, as advised by doctors. These treatments are her only hope for recovery.

So far, we have spent around ₹3 lakh, exhausting all our savings. However, the doctors have estimated that we will need ₹10 lakh more for her continued treatment, ICU stay, and long rehabilitation process.

A Mother’s Strength, A Family’s Hope

It is devastating to see my mother; once so full of life and energy, now lying motionless in a hospital bed. Yet, even in her pain, she looks at us with faith in her eyes, believing she will recover and return home. That faith keeps us fighting every single day.
