I am Anoop Kumar, speaking today not only as an individual but also as a devotee whose heart is deeply connected to a sacred space in the Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh. Here stands a 125-YEAR-OLD ANCIENT SHIVA TEMPLE, a place that has silently absorbed the prayers of countless devotees for generations. This temple has seen children grow into elders, has heard whispered wishes and heartfelt vows, and has remained a steady presence through changing times, reminding us of the eternal grace of MAHADEV.
For more than a century, this temple has been a living witness to faith, sacrifice and devotion. The structure today shows signs of age – weakened walls, worn surfaces, and damage caused by time and weather – yet the spirit of bhakti stands unbroken. Even in its fragile state, devotees continue to bow their heads here, because this place represents something far greater than stone and mortar. It represents our SANATAN DHARMA, our traditions, and our collective identity.
Across our country, many such ancient temples are slowly moving towards silence. Not because devotion has faded, but because preservation has been neglected for too long. When a temple weakens, it is not just a structure that suffers; it is a loss felt deeply in the hearts of devotees. These sacred spaces were built to guide generations, and allowing them to disappear means allowing a part of our spiritual heritage to fade away.
This 125-YEAR-OLD SHIVA TEMPLE now requires urgent repair, conservation, and rebuilding so that it may continue to serve as a place of worship, meditation, and spiritual strength. Protecting it is not the responsibility of one family or one group; it is a shared responsibility of every Sanatani devotee who believes in preserving the roots of our faith.
As MAHASHIVRATRI approaches, let us treat this sacred occasion as a moment of commitment and promise. A promise that we will not turn away while our temples struggle to stand. A promise that we will come together with devotion in our hearts and determination in our actions to support the restoration and rebuilding of this holy space.
Let us promise this MAHASHIVRATRI that every devotee, in whatever capacity possible, will step forward through donations, support, and prayer to ensure that this temple rises again with dignity and strength. When many hands join together, even the smallest contribution becomes powerful and meaningful.
Your offering, no matter how small, becomes SHIVA SEVA. It becomes punya that carries the blessings of Bholenath. It becomes a silent prayer for the well-being of your family and a sacred gift for generations yet to come, who will one day stand here and remember those who chose to protect their faith.
With humility and folded hands, I invite every devotee to be a part of this sacred effort and help keep our spiritual heritage alive.
HAR HAR MAHADEV.
